Housing Choice Voucher Assistance
The Housing Choice Voucher Assistance Program provides assistance for low-income families in the private rental market via the Section 8 Program. Rental Voucher Holders select a unit from the private rental market and can receive rental assistance. Rental assistance makes market rate housing affordable. Program participants normally pay between 30-40% of their monthly adjusted income towards rent and utilities. The Housing Assistance Payment subsidizes the balance of the rent to the property owner. Income eligibility requirements apply. Please contact our offices if you are interested in this program, to be placed on the waiting list.
